Day 54 -- December 31

Can't believe another year has come and gone. I never believed it when I was younger that the years would go by faster as you got older but boy do I believe it now. It seems like just yesterday I was getting the bump removed from my head and like just last week that Kodiak was wandering her way through the halls of the house. Now, here we are staring down 2010. Thanking God for the blessings of health, jobs, safety, love and family. 2009 was a crazy year from Grandma Jones' cancer to this wild puppy taking over our lives and our hearts. Dad's retiring from GM after 34 years and my car accident on the same day.... God's truly been good to us all. Now, as 2010 is here, it's time to embrace it and look forward to the wonderful surprises in store for all of us.

Day 53 -- December 30

*SNOWDOGS!!!!!!!!

Day 48 -- December 25

Again we were blessed with a beautiful Christmas Day. The weather might not have been so cooperative....rain & gloom all day.... but the joy and memories made by being with family members made it seem sunny :)

Exhaustion set in about 1:30 am when my mom & I drove home from G & G Campbells. But after traditional cinnimon rolls for breakfast, great lunch & fellowship at G & G Jones' and a filling & laughter-filled dinner with the Campbells, our Christmas Day was complete. Most importantly, it was a day full of love. And as we drove home listening to Paul Byrom's Christmas cd, I couldn't help but think that THIS is what the holidays are all about. It starts and ends with family.

Day 47 -- December 24

*Tundra all cuddled up on Christmas Eve waiting for Santa to come to the Jones household...

Our annual Xmas Eve party was a huge success yet again with family coming from as far as Taylor and Holland to celebrate! It was great to see everyone. Santa even showed up with his white socks! The white elephant gift game was, as always, full of laughs...but no dead ducks this year.... ;)
*Corey practicing his finesse against Austin on the ping pong table...

*Anna & Olivia -- SO CUTE!

*Anna - Adorable. Look at those pajamas! She was tired (it was after 10pm) and sat patiently watching the white elephant game...

*Shenanigans -- Corey & Brent...Nice Hats!
*All the kids :) It looks like Olivia has a star hat on! We call that a merger...& we're supposed to avoid them...now I see why!...ooops! ;)

Day 46 -- December 23, 2009

*Sekoia is the new Spokesdog for Cabela's....

*They fought over whether these cookies were homemade or store bought...they were homemade by M. Fed and oh so delicious! :)

*Trying on hats w/ Amy at Goffee's before T. Fed convinced everyone I was doing a duet with Goffee's middle-school aged son...apparently I was going to sing Rascal Flatts while he played the piano.... niiiiice!

*Nancy & Baby Evelyn made an appearance! Evelyn was dolled up in one of her Christmas dresses...it WAS a Christmas party... ;)

*Chris W. & I on the bus with our crazy driver (who tried to kill us) and lots of laughter all around!

Day 38

*Can you tell I live on a dirt road....It looks like I have a two-tone car!

*Mom left Tundra & Sekoia in the house today for a few hours by themselves...apparently they decided they wanted to sleep on my bed UNDER the covers...my bed was made when Mom left.... hmmmmmmm.......

*I forgot to publish this one on the night we took our xmas pics. Sekoia posed the entire time the camera was out. She likes to lay with her front paws crossed....so adorable.

Day 37 -- December 14

Well, I failed and forgot to take a picture today....I came home sick from work at 11am and cuddled on the couch the rest of the day....I did do my Wii Fit though.... :) yay! So I thought I'd add a throw-back video from this summer. This video is when Sekoia first met her 2nd best friend, Bella. They are 5 weeks apart...and adorable to watch play together! Bella likes to visit sometimes and see if Sekoia can come out and play...the bad part is, she doesn't always ask her parents first and seems to come by way of the neighbor's pond...OOPS!

Day 36 -- December 13

There were too many pictures to post on here for today so I put them in an album.... It was a fellowship day too so we had lots of good food after church this morning. Plus, Karen & Cory announced that they are expecting! Amazing. God's power and love truly at work! Many prayers daily for a safe delivery next July!

Day 35 -- December 12

*Tundra hiding under the blankets to keep warm....
